A little photographic post of our recent trip to Cyprus. We stayed in the beautiful harbour town of Paphos exploring its delights nearby and further afield in our little car stuffed with 5 bodies! It was our first family holiday as five, and if it’s anything to go by, we look forward to many more!
Culinary highlights included the greek yoghurt at breakfast every morning, mouth watering mezzo in the beautiful village of Omodos and delicious Asian fusion seafood at our hotel restaurant on date night!
I think my favourite mezze aside from giant village salads (greek salad) and grilled village sausages (similar to chorizo) were chunks of halloumi coated in sesame seeds, baked and drizzled in honey – need I say more.
Despite the weather being 30 degrees, thats still 15 degrees cooler than being in Dubai and throw in a cooler ocean breeze and it can’t get better than that! We were surrounded by ancient Olive trees, fragrant Rosemary hedges, Bay trees, Bougainvillea.
Days consisted of hours of swimming, strawberry milkshakes and singapore slings poolside with more mezze plates!
It was heaven!
